Himachal rains: A trail of devastation after heavy downpour

The destructive weather conditions have caused significant damage, including the washing away of vehicles, roads, and bridges, including a 50-year-old bridge connecting Aut in Mandi district with Larji beside Sainj and Banjar. Additionally, eleven houses have been damaged, and road connectivity and electricity supply have been disrupted. As a result, all educational institutions will be closed on Monday and Tuesday, while train services remain suspended in the affected regions. The local weather department has issued a "red" alert for seven districts in Himachal Pradesh.
