The Hawthorne Bridge is closed during the Tuesday evening commute after the Willamette River crossing encountered a mechanical malfunction, Multnomah County said.
The issue was reported at about 4:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Drivers, pedestrians and bicyclists are asked to find other routes or expect delays across the river, as there was no estimate on when the bridge would reopen. https://bit.ly/4tU2p1f
