Liberal Wisconsin radio host invites conservative leader for civil political discussion

Описание: There's been a lot of reflection and blame in America in the past week after the murder of Charlie Kirk.

How did we get to this point of harsh political divide, and how do we get past it? In Northeast Wisconsin, two members of opposing views recently sat down to have that conversation.

“I'm really glad you’re here to have this discussion,” Rational Revolution radio show host Mark Becker told his guest, 8th Congressional District Republican Party Chair Ken Sikora, at the start of their Sept. 11 radio conversation. “I give you a lot of credit for being here.”

Becker and Sikora have both been accused of being radicals for their political views -- Becker for the left and Sikora for the right.

The two men talked tough topics for the hour-long show: political violence, religion and the LGBTQ community. They rarely agreed, yet it was respectful -- something many have come to think is impossible, considering the current political landscape.

Both agree the face-to-face conversation helps.
