A little tribute to a very cool game that many more should be checking out, hopefully this will help as not nearly enough people even know about it, it's such an unique boss-rush style game. If you do play it here's three good tips to know going in, along with reading the tutorials of course:
Change the guard input to a shoulder button, it makes mobility and guard/dodge cancelling much smoother and should have been the default. If you miss an air recovery and get knocked down you can spin the stick/mash buttons to get up faster. After going into Aura Release you can still hold L1 to spend more Aura and power up your attacks even more. These last two took me an embarrassingly long time to realize.
