As part of the series on 'Strengthening the Chemical Weapons Convention', SIPRI interviewed Dr Andrea Leisewitz, Director of Integrity, Safety and Ethics in Research, Universidad San Sebastian, Chile and SAM Member and Vicechair, Scientific Advisory Board, OPCW. Here, she speaks about key security challenges and what key actors should take the initiative to address these challenges. The interviews were conducted during an expert workshop in Stockholm in December 2023.
