History of Airlines: Jetblue Airways

Описание: American low-cost carrier JetBlue Airways Corporation was founded in 2004. Its headquarters are in the Queens borough of New York City, in the Long Island City neighborhood. Additionally, it keeps corporate offices in Florida and Utah.
JetBlue has been implementing order differentials and multiple orders since 2011. Initially, the airline planned to add 40 Airbus A320neo to revamp its fleet. The airline changed its order books several times, first ordering several Airbus A321 aircraft and then switching almost all its A320neo orders to Airbus A321neo orders.
The airline made several changes to its fleet plans in 2018 and 2019, with the goal of replacing all its outdated Embraer 190 aircraft with Airbus A220-300s. Later, the airline changed its orders for Airbus A321neo to include Airbus A321XLR aircraft in its fleet.
The first Airbus A220 was delivered to JetBlue in 2020, and the A321LR joined the fleet in 2021. In 2024, the airline plans to add the Airbus A321XLR to its fleet.
