Many leadership roles call for strengths that come natural to extroverts; however many introverts possess four strengths that are essential for good leadership:
1. They are good listeners. Most people want a leader who listens to them and asks questions so that they feel that their opinions and ideas are heard.
2. They are good at written communication. Written communication allows the introvert to think through what they want to say and choose their words carefully so that they convey the message they intend.
3. They prefer one-on-one and small groups. At large meetings, only those who don't mind speaking up in a crowd speak. Many people, even many extroverts, are more open in smaller or one-on-one settings. Because the introvert is good at this, they are able to draw people out and hear their ideas.
4. They think things through. The introvert does not like to make rash decisions, so not only do they think everything through, but they think of contingency plans.
