Who loves a good drive around in the car? Well it's not going to be easy! With other cars to look out for, the idea is to try and dodge them as you drive around the track! To date, this remains the world's most common fairground ride, as a lot of fairgrounds, amusement parks, and even some theme parks have got this type of ride. The current Dodgem Track in use since 2013 is manufactured by Bertazzon, however the Dodgem Cars are manufactured by Reverchon and have been at the Pleasure Beach a lot longer, possibly since the late 1990's. This ride currently costs you 3 Tokens per rider, or an unlimited ride wristband.
UPDATE: Remember everyone, any form of deliberate bumping on these dodgems is now banned for Health & Safety reasons long after we published this video, so please do not attempt to bump into anyone, or the staff will tell you off, as we recently witnessed a couple of young lads being thrown off the Dodgems after a couple of young boys didn't like being bumped, and there are now No Bumping signs dotted around the fencing, so please obey the signs.
