Worth buying over the regular Golf, yes if you like the accessories, but no reason to actively encourage or discourage you from getting it.

What's definite, however, is that the Golf is a very well-refined and balanced package with appeal that transcends class and occasion. You can be anyone from any social class turning up at any occasion in a Golf and it still looks right.
