here's a instrumental cover of one of my favorite songs by Mac Ayres! ive been mixing this for more than a month. because im still not good at using this DAW nor do i have decent experience in mixing and mastering. i just mixed this by comparing to the original.

i saw a piano tutorial on youtube of this song. which gave me an idea to make an instrumental cover of this song since there is still no instrumental of this on youtube (not until now :D)

the first thing i did was the piano/keys of the song. i copied the patterns of the original song and lay it all out until the end. the next thing i did was the kick drum, followed by the rimshot, and then the hi hats. and then i did the BASS. which is my favorite part because its my own bass rendition. i copied all the elements of Roses except the Bass.

The outro part is missing some few elements, i chopped a tiny drum part of the original song and looped it through out the ending. and added the keys/piano, bass and a saxophone. i got lazy and tired of trying to figure out the notes of the song playing. well atleast its still somehow recognizable. LOL

anyway, i hope you guys liked what i did. im a HUGE fan of mac ayres. i think im gonna make an instrumental cover of his song ''Get Away'' next. because i also saw a piano tutorial of that + no instrumental on youtube.
