The renowned poet/writer, Kahlil Gibran, wrote this very beautiful passage about mothers, using simple but touching words. It's as powerful as in any language.
“The Mother” is a passage excerpted from The Broken Wings written by Kahlil Gibran (a Lebanese-American writer/poet, 1883-1931).
Today we will learn to read the Chinese translation of it to enhance our language intuition as well as remind us of the importance of mothers. Let's recall the good of our mothers and tell our mothers, "Happy Mother's Day."
