GRAND MARIAN EXHIBIT 2024 SA VALENZUELA IN CELEBRATION OF THE BIRTH OF BLESSED VIRGIN MARY

Описание: The purpose of this Marian Exhibit is not only to show the different beautiful images, statues and the many wonderful “titles” of the Blessed Virgin Mary (“Mama Mary” as we fondly call her) but to educate the community about her life and how she continues to touch and inspire our lives.
 
The Blessed Virgin Mary’s worldwide apparitions and messages only reminds us that she is always there to help in accomplishing our duties being followers of Christ, that is to love God and love our neighbors especially those in dire need. She is there to lead us closer to Jesus. She plays a vital role in our spiritual journey and in our Christian faith.


The Church celebrates Mary's birthday on September 8. This feast day is exactly nine months after the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception on December 8th. The Church makes no claims as to the historical merit of either date.

It is generally believed that the date of September 8 was chosen to celebrate the Nativity of Mary since the civil year began in Constantinople on September 1.

The Roman Catholic Church celebrates the Feast of the Holy Name of Mary, on September 12th in honor to the name of Mary, the mother of Jesus.
On Sept. 8, the Catholic Church celebrates the birth of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of God!

This feast day is celebrated exactly nine months after the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception on Dec. 8. Be sure to honor Our Lady and wish her a Happy Birthday as we look to her as our Spiritual Mother!
