Making 6 figures as a videographer is easy AF. Break it down. How many retainers do you need to sign to hit that $100,000 per year run rate?

2 at $5,000 per month, 4 at $2,500 per month or 5 at $2,000 per month.

When you look at it like that, it's just a numbers game.

The best strategy to follow BY FAR is to look honestly at what's already in your hands. Do a deep dive into your client rolodex. There will be a clear winner who 1. works with you the most and 2. pays you the most.

As two more added check boxes, you should 1. like them as people and 2. like the work that they do.

Put a proposal together based on the deliverables you've created for them as well as the profits collected over the past several months or 1-2 years and pitch it to them in passing.

If they bite, then great - get a deal signed. If they don't, then make a list of businesses SIMILAR to theirs and sell them the template you've built out with this client.

It's as easy as pie. I did it, and you can do it too.
