Must-read Grimdark: Prince of Thorns by Mark Lawrence (The Broken Empire trilogy) | BOOK REVIEW

Описание: My most recent read was Prince of Thorns by Mark Lawrence (also known as The Broken Empire trilogy or Prince of Thorns series)—boy, was this one heavy. This is a must-read grimdark fantasy trilogy comprised of Prince of Thorns, King of Thorns, and Emperor of Thorns. There's also a companion novella called Road Brothers, which is well worth the read. I will forever need more of Jorg Ancrath and his story. 😩

In this video, I gush on (and on) about why this series has quickly sky-rocketed to the top of my favorite 2020 reads, but it isn't a story for the faint of heart. If there's one thing to be excited about this year, it's discovering the magic of Mark Lawrence books!

I should mention Mark has stated he will give away a rare Grim Oak edition Broken Empire omnibus once the Goodreads ratings for Prince of Thorns reaches 100K. I would be OVER THE MOON for a chance to win one. Definitely give these books a read.
