Описание: For decades the Classic Motorbike Club of South Africa has hosted the Thousand back show a classic bike show in Johannesburg. They have all the marques and specialty stands too. Last year they invited us to host a Thumper Concours as part of the show.
Motul stepped up and sponsored in conjunction with Shimwells Yamaha. Motul brought 'Motul Mary' there iconic 1972 VW Kombi flatbed. Stand with built up around this iconic vehicle and 25 Thumpers were presented.
We seven weeks away from the 2025 Thumper Concours l.
It's a good time to look back and celebrate.
The 2025 stand is going to be bigger with the trophies increased from 2 to 5 categories.
1. Original
2. Modified
3. Survivor
4. Off-road /racer
5. Judges choice
6. Best on stand (selected by the judges from the five categories)
There will be a fantastic trophy for each of these categories. And the floating trophy will continue for the best on stand. Best on stand will also get a trophy from the CMC.
Any bike that wins a category will not be eligible for a win for 2 years thereafter.
Previous winners to wear their rosettes when they displayed as part of future Concours stands.
