Conservation Stewardship Program (CSP) forest land online information meeting, September 12, 2022

Описание: A webinar held on Monday, September 12, 2022 covering information from the Massachusetts Department of Conservation Recreation (DCR) and the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) Conservation Stewardship Program (CSP) for forest land. Michael Downey and Allison Wright-Hunter from DCR presented on the Forest Stewardship Programs, as well as the work they are doing for Climate Resiliency and Adaptation of MA Forests. Kate Parsons and Dan Lenthall from NRCS presented on all facets of CSP- inventory, planning practices and enhancements, eligibility and payments. NRCS concluded with a discussion by one CSP participant, Harry Webb on his experience applying for and completing a CSP contract for his forest land, along with his conservation planner, Robert Purcell, NRCS District Conservationist.
