Cane has been farming for just over a year, and despite discouraging comments, he has taken the plunge and left his job to dedicate himself to farming full-time. Together with Cassandra, they have been on a journey to explore new possibilities in the world of agriculture in Malta.
They have founded Biome Munch that looks at food and farming more holistically. One of their main aims is to make healthy food more accessible to citizens, and they do this through subscription boxes. They would like to see more community-supported agriculture in Malta as well as passionate young people taking up farming and regenerating the land.
This video is part of a series of interviews with local farmers.
