In 2020, Richard and Leslie Frank made a historic $7.5 million gift to the College of Media—the largest gift ever given to the college—to establish the Richard and Leslie Frank Center for Leadership and Innovation in Media. A portion of the Franks’ gift was used to create a state-of-the-art broadcast facility within Richmond Studio in 2023, including the Frank Newsroom.
