ALABAMA HILLS TO TUTTLE CREEK BLM CAMPGROUNDS

Описание: Well, it was quite a "shock" to see Alabama Hills so DESOLATE and EMPTY! Last time I camped here with a buddy this place was BUSY! Now they have narrowed it down to where you really have to search for a "good spot" to stay in for several days. Seems they are "pushing" travelers into the Pay to camp BLM campgrounds near the hills, and they are many. We chose Tuttle Creek BLM campgrounds which were nice with Tuttle creak dividing the campground area in half.

My name is Mark and I travel with my two Girls, "Katie & Sara" (a Border Collie and an Irish Setter), as Semi-Nomads in our upgraded 2008 Pleasure-Ways Ascent - 19ft. Campervan. I bought this RV in 2018 and have spent the past 4 yrs. upgrading it for Boondocking & Dry Camping off-grid. We are retired and now enjoy the freedom of the open road exploring and making new friends and discoveries along the way. In our coming journeys we will crisscross the west from the wilds of Canada to the Mexican border and from the deep blue of the Pacific Ocean to the Golden Fields of the Plaine States and the heights of the Rocky Mountains.
