The new Icom IC-7300 Mk II ham radio transceiver was announced at the Tokyo Ham Fair in August 2025. It arrived in the UK in December 2025, just in time for Christmas, although the initial delivery did not fully meet the initial demand. However, as of January 2026, fresh supplies have arrived.
The original version was announced in 2015 and sold well in excess of 100,000 units. Clearly a popular and successful design.
