We're back for another week of Speedrunners Sunday's. The first silver we face trash talks us in a language google translate reports to be spanish.
Ahh, let me taste your tears, Crash. Mmm, your tears are so yummy and sweet. Oh the tears of unfathomable sadness!
One thing he said that made me literally laugh out loud translated roughly to "I s**t on the mother who birthed this f***ing cat item spammer." He also made some general comments about what he considers to be my lack of ability (what does it say about him that I am beating him, then?). Ironically, it's probably his weak skills using and avoiding items that is causing his hilarious rage.
All of this, of course, leads to a hilarious rage-quit. The robbing of points kind of sucks, but what can you do but laugh at them?
The take-away here: learn items, ladies and gentlemen. As long as you have people in the higher leagues who prefer to whine and complain -- rather than admit that items are a part of the game, and face the fact that they should learn to play with them and around them -- good item use will offer you a huge edge over what you would have otherwise.
