Dr. Wright discusses why he likes to have the first Lipedema procedure be Inner and anterior thighs for his patients.
No general anesthesia is used for our procedures. Only local anesthetic and oral medications are given. We figure out how much lidocaine can safely go in your body by your weight. Because of this, we have to split the body up into different procedures. We NORMALLY recommend surgeries to be broken down like this:
1) Inner and anterior thighs
2) Lateral thighs, hips and buttocks
3) Calves and ankles
4) Arms (upper or full)
5) Abdomen and Flanks
