Описание: We finally tried winter camping for the first time, inspired by the many outdoor and backcountry videos that encouraged us to experience camping during the winter months. What started as a cold, crisp day in the backcountry quickly turned into a true test of resilience when the night brought heavy rain, strong winds, and plunging temperatures.

Despite the challenging weather, the experience was incredible. We took shelter, stayed warm, and embraced the rain instead of fighting it—proving that winter camping can be just as rewarding as it is demanding. Our hot tent setup, hearty campsite meals, and determination helped turn tough conditions into an unforgettable adventure.

Packing up was the hardest part of the trip. After a full day of rain followed by a cold front, ropes, knots, and parts of the tent froze solid with ice. Using hot water to thaw everything added extra time, and just like setting up camp in rough weather, dismantling camp required patience and teamwork.

Even with frozen gear, wet conditions, and strong winds, this trip reinforced why we love backcountry camping. The solitude, the challenge, and the satisfaction of pushing through made it an experience we’ll absolutely do again.
