In a flashback, Shinki applies his chakra on Araya's sword to enable him to manipulate his iron sand. Shinki says it is all for the purpose for protecting his father. Araya responds saying he should be focusing on Yodo instead. Back in the present, Araya frees Mitsuki from Ryū's control.

The battle between Sarada and Mitsuki vs Sarada heats up with the duo landing hits on ryu but being unable to land finishing blows due to Ryu's power! Things take a turn for the worse when Ryu finally launches a plan to put the Konoha shinobi in a tough position.
