Byllye Avery is a health activist who founded the National Black Women’s Health Project, empowering Black women to take control of their reproductive and overall health.
This documentary received a Certificate of Excellence in the 2025 Lowell Milken Center International Discovery Award competition is by a Phillips Academy High School Student (KS) examines Avery’s advocacy and the movement she built to address health disparities and amplify the voices of Black women nationwide.
