Veterans Grocery Grab Contest Winners SaveMart Shopping Spree 2018

Описание: Today Darlene Rowe of Chowchilla had the pleasure of a 5 minute & $500.00 shopping spree at the local SaveMart here in Los Banos, CA. The shopping spree was hosted by the local VFW and American Legion in an effort to raise money for the 5th annual Veterans Parade that will be going on Saturday November 3, 2018.

This marks the 2nd annual Grocery Grab according to a local veteran Alan Cotta the Commander of the American Legion Post#166. Veteran Mike Hughes Commander of the VFW Post#2487 says these funds will help fund the parade and all that it entails.

Darlene Rowe has 5 Minutes to run through the aisles of SaveMart today say's George S. of SaveMart and please keep the aisles clear for her as she moves around the store he informs the other shoppers over the intercom. The other shoppers were allowed to watch and continue shopping as Darlene made her way around the store going from aisles to aisles.

Darlenes’ journey started in the Bacon aisles where she immediately picked up a few packages of bacon and sausage then it was off to the meat section where she picked up all the ribs, ham, steaks, and roast that she could. Remembering that she only had $500.00 to spend Darlene was very choosy about which aisles she wanted to visit spending the majority of her time in the meat section of the store and after picking up her steak and ribs Darlene headed directly over to the rice and pasta sections of the store. Darlenes’ last stop was the laundry detergent where she scored lots of Tide and bleach.
