Ingredients:
• Rajma (Kidney beans) – 1 cup (soaked overnight)
• Lobia (Black-eyed beans) – 1 cup (soaked)
• Onion – 2 medium (finely chopped)
• Tomatoes – 2 large (blended)
• Ginger-garlic paste – 1 tbsp
• Green chilli – 1 (optional)
• Oil – 3 tbsp
• Cumin seeds – 1 tsp
• Bay leaf – 1
• Turmeric – ½ tsp
• Red chilli powder – 1 tsp
• Coriander powder – 1½ tsp
• Garam masala – 1 tsp
• Salt – to taste
• Fresh coriander – for garnish
Cooking Method:
1. Pressure cook soaked rajma & lobia with salt until soft
2. Heat oil, add cumin & bay leaf
3. Add onions, cook till golden
4. Add ginger-garlic & chilli
5. Add tomato puree & spices, cook till oil separates
6. Add cooked beans + water
7. Simmer 15–20 mins till thick & rich
8. Finish with garam masala & coriander
Serve hot with steamed rice or naan
