This trip takes us on a thrilling patrol along the southern border of the United States — from San Antonio, Texas, all the way to the coast of San Diego, California. We begin deep in Texas, driving past wide plains, dusty highways, and small desert towns before crossing into New Mexico, where the landscape shifts into endless sands and crimson mesas glowing under the sun. From there, we enter Arizona, navigating rugged canyons, rocky plateaus, and open desert roads stretching toward the horizon. Finally, we reach California, where golden light spills across the desert and the road leads us straight to the Pacific Ocean. A long patrol through four states — filled with heat, silence, danger, and breathtaking beauty — capturing the true spirit of the Southwest.

This video production serves as a fantastic showcase of the continuous efforts by both SCS and its community to enhance this amazing game.

About American Truck Simulator

American Truck Simulator is a truck simulator game developed and published by SCS Software. It was announced as being in development in September 2013 and unveiled at the E3 2015. It was released on 2 February 2016 for Microsoft Windows, Linux, and macOS. The game is the parallel sequel to Euro Truck Simulator 2, the spiritual successor of 18 Wheels of Steel, and the fifth installment in the Truck Simulator series. The game is set in a condensed depiction of the United States, featuring American conventional semi-trucks and various locations across the U.S., where players pick up a variety of cargos and deliver them to their destinations.
Since its release, the game has sold over 2 million copies on Steam.
