Redressal of Pensioners Grievances – Pensioners must know
• Govt developed Centralised Pension Grievances Redress and Monitoring System (CPENGRAMS) for speedy settlement pensioners grievances.
• Complaints can be registered directly on the portal. Toll free no. 1800-11-1960.
• Grievances lodged on CPENGRAMS are to be resolved within 30 days.
• The grievances of Family Pensioners & Super Senior Pensioners may be accorded highest priority.
• An officer will be appointed as Nodal Appellate Authority for timely disposal of pension related Appeals. The authority will dispose of the appeal within 30 days.
• The onus of closure of grievances lodged on the CPENGRAMS portal lies with the concerned Ministry/department.
• The grievances should be closed on CPENGRAMS portal only after ultimate and conclusive redressal of the grievances.
• Premature closure of the grievances on CPENGRAMS portal must be avoided.
