"I think we are very pleased to have a win in our first game, i know the boys have been waiting to play for a fair while, and i think the physical nature of the game, a good level of physicality, and a lot of work, we had to do a lot of work, was really positive for us, and the fact that we have not played a lot of rugby over the last period, this was something that we needed to come to terms with relatively quickly in this competition."

"No, not really, i am new to Test foote and international rugby but for me winning a Test match is all you have to do, and then you go to the next one, its not, I'm not counting points, i just want to win one game and then go to the next game and win another, that's it."

"Another tough night for our team tonight, we came here with high ambitions for this game and thought that we could be at our best and get a win, credit to the Wallabies, they played very well, i thought for periods of the first half we had control of the game but some errors crept in and a team like Australia are very good at capitalising on that and took their opportunities and for our boys an excellent half, the effort was amazing - its very hard to play England and then Australia five days later in such high intensity matches, so real credit to that way they played tonight."
