Forced together by war, bound by a lie that saved a life, and hidden for 512 days inside an abandoned windmill, their story reveals a side of history rarely told, where love defied uniforms, laws, and hatred.
This film is also a personal reflection, echoing the untold story of Arbab Dost Muhammad Khan, a British Indian Army soldier whose wartime marriage in Europe was torn apart by the chaos of Partition. Like countless others, his story vanished between the pages of history.
