A Fairytale Autumn Cottage in Wales Pembrokeshire 🍂 ☕

Описание: Happy Autumn friends, we went away for a few days at the start of September and stayed in this beautiful cottagecore fairytale cottage in the Welsh countryside deep in the valley.

It's a beautiful old farmhouse called 'Lordship Farmhouse' in the middle of the countryside down old winding tracks miles from towns, surrounded by pretty trees, fields of sheep and amazing historical places to visit locally.

We went away with Jon's parents and took little daughter and dog too. We had a lovely time, but did come down with one of the gifts from Autumn I don't enjoy, the common cold! Tabitha didn't sleep that well when we were there, like she usually does. But I think that is really down to her nose being all blocked up - so I am just grateful there was a big roaring fire on hand to keep us cosy and snuggled with copious amounts of tea. I also took my book, a court of frost and starlight. It's such a cosy read and I am really enjoying it!

We were lucky enough to meet the owners of the house who live next door, and they were on hand if we needed anything. Hazel was also allowed to run free round the gardens and enjoyed meeting another dog at the bottom of the hill who lived in an old cosy hut with their owner who makes amazing wood carvings.

In the video you will see a relaxing tour of the cottage and can spend time really taking in the history and pretty features. You will also see there is a pottery, this is next to the house and was really fun to explore. If we had been feeling better I think we would have done some pottery making, but instead Jon's mum kindly got us a new mug and plant pot to take home as a memory of our time there.

We also visit a pretty Iron Age settlement in the vlog, it’s somewhere called Castell Henllys, a place I have been visiting since I was as young as my daughter is now. I love that I got to take her here and show her the pretty village. I have linked locations below for where we stayed and the village we visited.
