Varosha, located in the Famagusta area of Northern Cyprus, is one of the most haunting and mysterious places in the Mediterranean. Once an exclusive tourist destination, by the early 1970s Varosha had become a true ghost city, closed to the public and frozen in time after the Turkish invasion of 1974. During this walk through its silent streets, you can see abandoned hotels, houses overtaken by vegetation, and shops left exactly as they were at the moment of sudden evacuation. The images tell the story of a broken community, suspended between nostalgia and fascination, inviting reflection on collective memory and the wounds of the past. A journey through ruins and landscapes that continue to evoke powerful emotions and unanswered questions.
