(#jobayerrifat)

The new Vice-Chancellor of Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology (CUET) has been confined to his office for two days. All utility services—including water and electricity—have been cut off. The Vice-Chancellor, along with several Chhatra Dal activists trapped with him, have reported feeling unwell under these conditions. Agitating students have locked the building and are staging a sit-in outside; they remain adamant in their demand for the Vice-Chancellor's resignation.
