Operation ARGOS is the ADF’s contribution towards the enforcement of United Nations Security Council Resolutions (UNSCRs) against North Korea. Australia Supports UNSC sanctions through the deployment of Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) maritime patrol aircraft and Royal Australian Navy (RAN) surface vessels. Since 2018, Australia has deployed RAAF maritime patrol aircraft 16 times and RAN vessels 13 times in support of the operation.
