Not gonna lie, I love the name of this sandwich. The Betty Engel Special was a weekly winner sent into Williams Bread Company which means, of course they were going to add it to their Williams’ Sandwich Recipes of 1974. Sure, it’s basically a overwrought bacon cheeseburger, but I don’t hate that at all.
