At Williams Blueberry Farm in Deming, three generations of the Williams family work together to grow berries on land that has been producing blueberries since the early 1950s. With support from the Whatcom Conservation District, the farm is upgrading its irrigation system to a highly efficient drip system that conserves water, reduces pest pressure, and protects local natural resources. The partnership helps make sustainable farming improvements affordable, ensuring the farm can remain productive for future generations.
