What exchange traded funds would you recommend that tracks the gold price? There is something called the GDX which tracks a larger basked of the larger gold companies. There is also the GDXJ ETF which tracks a slightly smaller set of companies. The SPDRs gold trust is theoretically all backed by bullion. There are also leveraged ETFs that one could invest into. If you want to trade momentum in the gold price, then leveraged ETFS give you that but remember that gold doesn't move in a straight line.
