Описание: The act of voting is the expression of a preference. Thus, to understand groups of votes--and thus groups of preferences--we must first understand how individual preferences work. In this lecture, we introduce the basics of preferences and indifference. Note that when expressing self-interest in the form of a preference, we are not implicitly assuming selfishness. Self-interest is merely a reflection of what people want, whether those desires are selfish or selfless.
