An in-depth and close up look at the mesmerizing marquetry technique used by Loewe to bring the beloved characters from Studio Ghibli´s Mon voisin Totoro on a range of Loewe classics. I bought two of the Gate Pockets.
The tan one shows the Dust Bunnies, while the blue one has Totoro, Chuu-Totoro and Chibi-Totoro.
It´s my second video on this collaboration and I´m still intrigued by the love and technique they put into realizing this.
I filmed so close, I even found a tiny issue on one of my Gate Pockets. Can you find it too? However I'm still very fond of it.
