With the marmot scurrying about in the background, then Icarians come together to deliver a message of fraternal generosity: we need each other to survive. For Icarus, there’s another meaning. If he wants to reach the heavens again, he’ll need support... The games reach their finale with two Icarians – perched then launched from the feet of their brothers – simultaneously performing a series of twisting back flips. In the forest, as in life, trust is everything.
Icarian Games is not only an energetic performance but an audience pleaser as well. The discipline is a variety in the genre commonly referred to as antipode. Antipodes (the plural form) are persons dwelling at opposite points on the globe. But, in the case of the Icarian Games, the antipodist is the porter, or the artist lying upon his back in a specially created incline chair. His job is to be a prop used only for tossing and juggling the voltigeur (flyer) with his feet - unbelievable! Their energetic performance brings down the house and their exciting choreography will raise the heart beat.
Synchronized Tumbling (Apr.08.2015 – 2017)
Acrobatics jump, twist and turn on an inflatable mat often in perfect synchronisation (This act lose all meaning in the show sadly)
