On The Scene: President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. leads the inauguration of the Aglipay Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) in Mandaluyong City on January 16, 2026. The Aglipay Sewage Treatment Plant is set to become one of Manila Water’s largest and most advanced facilities to date. As part of the Mandaluyong West–San Juan South–Quezon City South Sewerage System, the plant is designed to serve approximately 652,000 residents across a catchment area of about 2,115 hectares covering parts of Mandaluyong City, City of San Juan and Quezon City.
