Time attack of Crystal Mountain 2 in Sonic Rivals, with Not Sonic, in 1:43.73, ran on my PSP 3000 with AV out.
Good run. Not super interesting, though Shadow is a bit faster than the other boys for one reason.
The non-sonic characters are all categorized the same in leaderboards, because the only difference between characters is their signature move, and using anyone's besides Sonic Boom is actively detrimental in an IL speedrunning context. So Shadow, Silver, AndKnuckles are exactly the same.
For races, I want to pick Sonic as my rival, because his signature move is the only one that doesn't directly attack me.
0:58 - Shadow's special comes out more quickly than Knuckles and Silver - so he saves a bit of time over them by cancelling his ascent off of this pole and drops down more quickly.
