In this episode of the 1999 Nissan Silvia S15 build, I tackle some essential maintenance and upgrades to keep the engine running cool and reliable.
I install Yashio Factory lightweight pulleys, replace the OEM Nissan SR20DET thermostat, and swap out all the accessory belts using HKS Fine Tune V-Belts. I also walk through how to properly tension SR20DET belts, a step that’s often overlooked but critical for performance and longevity. To finish things off, I install pinch weld adapters, making future maintenance easier and safer.
