Prof Karim Fizazi (Institut Gustave Roussy, Villejuif, France), Prof Neeraj Agarwal (University of Utah School of Medicine, Utah, USA), Prof Alicia Morgans (Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, Chicago, USA) and Prof Laura Maria Krabbe (University of Muenster Medical Center, Muenster, Germany) discuss the developments in metastatic hormone-sensitive prostate cancer.
Initially, they talk about the SWOG S1216 study; A phase III randomised trial comparing androgen deprivation therapy (ADT) plus TAK-700 with ADT plus bicalutamide in patients with newly diagnosed metastatic hormone-sensitive prostate cancer.
Prof Fizazi then directs the discussion towards the first results of the PEACE-1 trial.
They then discuss results from the final analysis of TITAN. They discuss a post hoc analysis of ARCHES. They conclude by talking about 177Lu-PSMA-617 in relation to metastatic hormone-sensitive prostate cancer.
