I am Cohen!
I am your soon-to-be best friend, adventure buddy, and professional tail-wagger!
I’m a 2½-year-old Doberman mix with a heart as big as my paws and a smile that could melt a snowstorm. I have been hanging out at Central Arizona Animal Rescue since I was just a little pup. I was only about 3 months old when I was brought here, that was over 2 years ago! Now I’m all grown up and ready to find my forever home. Could it be with you?
Let me tell you a little about myself.
I have personality plus. I am a sweet, gentle soul who LOVES everyone—kids, grown-ups, and other dogs too! I am the kind of guy who makes friends wherever I go. I am also super quiet—seriously, I hardly ever bark. I am more of a “strong, silent type” with a soft heart.
I am a really smart cookie. I am a quick learner and super smart, so training me will be a breeze! I have even learned how to open the kennel door all by myself, I just watched the volunteers and how they did it and I copied them! I have been known to let myself out on occasion and when I do, I will open all the gates and we all get to go out and have fun together!
I’ve never lived inside a house before, so I will need a little help with house training—but I promise I will try my best and learn fast! I also need more practice walking on leash, I already know where I want to go, so what do we need these leashes for? But I guess I will do it for you.
I am ready for an adventure. Whether it’s a walk in the park, a road trip, or just lounging in the backyard, I am up for anything as long as I am with you. I have got a curious spirit and a wagging tail that is always ready to go!
My brothers, my one sister and I were rescued together. One of my brothers and my sister have already found their forever family and went home with them, but my brother Casey and I are still waiting. Maybe you’ve got room for two?
I have never met a cat before, so I am not sure how I would feel about them—but I am open to new experiences!
I am neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all my vaccinations. I am ready to go!
