Описание: Fonés presented a special atmospheric medley of traditional songs that they had prepared for us and closed our momentous event in the best possible way! The Fonés band was formed in 2016 by Marina Satti. It is a female ensemble that performs polyphonic songs from all over the world. Fonés have performed at the Small Theater of Ancient Epidaurus, at the Odeon of Herodes Atticus, at the Athens Concert Hall, at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center, while they have collaborated with artists such as: Pavlidis, Dionysis Savvopoulos. In September 2018 they sang at the United Nations Champions of the Earth Awards ceremony in New York, while in November of the same year they sang at the touch ceremony of the flame of the 36th Athens Marathon. In December 2019, Marina Satti and the fonés became the first Greek-speaking act to appear on the KEXP music network. They have also appeared at festivals in France, England, the Netherlands, Switzerland as well as at the major World Music Expo WOMEX Festival in Finland (2020) and at WOMAD in Australia and New Zealand (2020).
