Allan Grice's 1987 Hardies Hero's shootout for the World Touring Car round at Mount Panorama Bathurst. A huge effort by the TAFE repair crew after Win Percy had an accident the day before at the top of the mountain saw the Bob Jane T-Marts VL Commodore not performing as well as it was all week but this didn't stop Gricey from putting in a great lap.
Of note, this was the first of many Bathurst 1000's where Allan Grice and Win Percy teamed up together resulting in a fantastic win in 1990.
