Property owners who face water damage or mold damage will need to call a water mitigation company or Mold Remediation company.
When you have an emergency your homeowners policy allows $3,000 in EMS services. However, if the services may exceed $3,000 these companies will need to call the insurance company to get authorization to exceed the $3,000 limit.
EMS= Emergency Mitigation Services
Make sure these companies do not try to take advantage of you. In this video, I cover a specific case where my client was treated very poorly and taken advantage of.
