Описание: On Oct 10, 2025 from Reno, Nevada, we headed south on the Eastern Sierra Scenic Byway (Highway 395)—a route renowned for its wide-open views and photogenic mountain backdrops. After driving 2 hours and 16 minutes, the landscape changed dramatically as we climbed toward Conway Summit (Elevation 8,143 ft), one of the most iconic fall color destinations in Eastern Sierra. It was here that the autumn spectacle truly unveiled itself. The high-elevation aspens blazed in brilliant golden yellows and oranges, providing incredible photographic opportunities from the numerous roadside pull-outs on the south-bound side of Highway 395. These roadside pull-outs offered easy access to sweeping views of golden aspen groves shimmering in the crisp mountain air. Just moments later, a quick one-mile drive brought us to the Mono Lake Vista Point. From this incredible vantage—nearly 1,000 feet above the ancient lake—we were rewarded with a breathtaking, panoramic view of the mysterious Mono Lake and its ghostly tufa towers. The panoramic view here truly takes your breath away, a perfect counterpoint to the vibrant color explosions on the mountain slopes behind us.
